This is a cut and paste from my old weblog. I hope I can figure out how to use this one better than that one ;)
Following the call of Christ to serve. A new book "One Man's Miracles" out soon. What else?

Hello! This website and the above quote sort of sums up nicely what I'm doing here. In short, I have no idea.
Anyone who knows me will be kind of surprised by this website and blog. I've never, to my shame, worn my Christianity on my sleeve. Yes, I professed to be a Christian, but never to where I would actually try to minister to anyone. That has changed, but not without some kicking and screaming by me. However, I did ask the Lord to take control and take me where he wants me to be. Now, I'm trying to follow him to where I've known for some years where he's been calling me.
First off, everything here is in its infancy. I need to hear from folks that have actually taken the time to look at my sight and read this blog. I will post entries on this blog that have any relevance or some type of testimony to God. I will answer any questions I can or just help in anyway that I can. Give me some feedback, ideas, etc. If you are here, God may very well have sent you here to help me.
I know I was called to write One Man's Miracles and all who have read it have loved it. Many have told me it has blessed them in ways that I could never imagine. Many have told me they laughed and they cried while reading it. Please send me your email address so I can let you know when it is available in bookstores (probably Sep or Oct 2007). As a new published author, I will rely on folks reading it and spreading the word, so I hope some of you will help me. I will not give your email address to anyone or send you anything you don't ask me to send you.
Well, that's it for this first entry. I will update when things happen with the book or when people begin write me with suggestions, questions, etc. Again, what you are seeing here are the first baby steps of a Christian who has resisted the callings of his God and Savior for some time. take me where you will, Jesus. I pray that I will serve you well.

Well, a first happened in my life yesterday and it was an amazing feeling. Someone who was in trouble in his life called out to my brother and me, and we were able to lead him to some professional help. More importantly, we were able to ask him if he had asked Jesus to come into his life and take control -- to accept Jesus' gift of salvation. We all prayed together right in the middle of a public parking lot.
I am acting out of character for me and my life up to this point, and I love it. It seems that as I've now begun to take the baby steps toward a calling I've known for some time, doors are beginning to open. I look forward to hearing from visitors to this website (I haven't as of yet), but not a lot of folks have found it yet. Also, I know the site has a ways to go, but Lord willing, I am determined to make it something useful.
Thank you Lord for the experience yesterday and allowing me to be involved when someone made the decision to accept you. Praise God!

Oooh Boy! This is embarrasing. The reason my blog has not been updated is because I could not figure out how to log back-in. Ha Ha. God has lead me to write for him, but definitly not to b a computer whiz.
I really appreciate the comments and am thrilled that a reader loved the sample chapter.
First the book--One Man's Miracles is progressing very well and is in the final stages. It will be out soon! Yeaaahhhhhhh!
My mission trip to Ecuador was a life changing experience. It is so wonderful when doing something for God. There is no other feeling like it. I'm told once you go on a Mission Trip you will not want to miss another, and that is exactly how I now feel.
I will keep the log up much better now I can log into it. I will also post pictures soon. The publisher its own site and Blog and I may switch to that but will link to it. Please keep the comments coming.
God bless you!
