First Interview
Posted by Ronald on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 8:23am

I had my first radio interview today with Brother Ron Miller and The Bible Breakfast Club with station WBFI-FM in Kentucky.  It was an exciting experience.  I had carefully laid out all my notes and the suggested questions, and Brother Ron didn't ask a one of the written suggestions.  God answered my prayers however and gave me my voice for a comfortable and pleasing experience.  Thanks to Brother Ron and WBFI-FM for hosting me.  May God Bless You.

Amazon.com

Thanks to all who have been ordering the book.  Please let me know what you think.

Amazon.com has the listings pretty straight now, but no cover yet (it may take a little while).    If you are interested in the hardcover of the book it comes a few spots down from the paperback if you use "kevin stroud" as the search term.

Prices are comparable between the big three outlets right now (amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and pleasantwordbooks.com which has the links at right).   Shipping costs can vary from no shipping cost on up.

It's Here!!
Posted by Ronald on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 6:37am

The Book is finally available!  I am so excited to see what God has in store for the book, the readers, and myself.  I have no doubt in my mind I was led to write and publish this book, so with faith I know our wonderful God has plans for it.  You can get a copy of the book at the right.  It is also available at Barnes and Noble and Amazon (though Amazon has its listing a litte messed up right now).

My earnest prayer that this book will serve our Lord by encouraging his children, or bringing them closer or leading people to him.  I believe the stories will cause readers to reflect on events in their life and see God's loving hand at work.

If you choose to get the book, I hope you will rate it on Amazon and/or Barnes and Noble.  It will be about a month before it is available to bookstores and placed on christianbooks.com.  Tell your favorite bookstores about it and ask them to stock it.

I appreciate your visiting the site and may God bless you in your life.

Kevin

Kevin,

I read the Stephanie Shocker and had tears in my eyes. Your book sounds wonderful, what a fabulous idea, to write about miracles you have experienced. Keep writing you blog! Did you know that you could post portions from your book and get people to comment on it? There was a mystery that was recently completely written on a blog and then the author self published, and it had several thousand sales before the release date. Good luck in your book sales!

Kevin - It is wonderful to see your website and blog! AND that you are on the spiritual path God intended for you and your spirit. If you are at peace within, you know this is where you need to be. Can't wait for your publication and the sharing and peace it will bring to many! We are so happy for you and your family, knowing you are well in the Lord! Isn't it great to find what you wanted/needed to be "when you grew up?!" We always think of you and your sincere (and successful) efforts on our behalf in 2004 - we will always be grateful. Thank you, Kevin -- thanks for being a big part of OUR spirit's journey...keep up the great work on God's behalf!

I am drawn to your site and book. I too am writing a book entitled: A Most Blessed Woman. I was praying for God's assistance and was directed to the internet and your site. Please let me know when you book is complete and may God's blessings and favor continue for both of our families and anyone who realizes that he is alive and active moment by moment in all of our lives.

One Man's Miracles
Posted by Ronald on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 10:03am

This is a cut and paste from my old weblog. I hope I can figure out how to use this one better than that one ;)

Following the call of Christ to serve. A new book "One Man's Miracles" out soon. What else?

Entry for May 17, 2007
Hello! This website and the above quote sort of sums up nicely what I'm doing here. In short, I have no idea.

Anyone who knows me will be kind of surprised by this website and blog. I've never, to my shame, worn my Christianity on my sleeve. Yes, I professed to be a Christian, but never to where I would actually try to minister to anyone. That has changed, but not without some kicking and screaming by me. However, I did ask the Lord to take control and take me where he wants me to be. Now, I'm trying to follow him to where I've known for some years where he's been calling me.

First off, everything here is in its infancy. I need to hear from folks that have actually taken the time to look at my sight and read this blog. I will post entries on this blog that have any relevance or some type of testimony to God. I will answer any questions I can or just help in anyway that I can. Give me some feedback, ideas, etc. If you are here, God may very well have sent you here to help me.

I know I was called to write One Man's Miracles and all who have read it have loved it. Many have told me it has blessed them in ways that I could never imagine. Many have told me they laughed and they cried while reading it. Please send me your email address so I can let you know when it is available in bookstores (probably Sep or Oct 2007). As a new published author, I will rely on folks reading it and spreading the word, so I hope some of you will help me. I will not give your email address to anyone or send you anything you don't ask me to send you.

Well, that's it for this first entry. I will update when things happen with the book or when people begin write me with suggestions, questions, etc. Again, what you are seeing here are the first baby steps of a Christian who has resisted the callings of his God and Savior for some time. take me where you will, Jesus. I pray that I will serve you well.

Well, a first happened in my life yesterday and it was an amazing feeling. Someone who was in trouble in his life called out to my brother and me, and we were able to lead him to some professional help. More importantly, we were able to ask him if he had asked Jesus to come into his life and take control -- to accept Jesus' gift of salvation. We all prayed together right in the middle of a public parking lot.

I am acting out of character for me and my life up to this point, and I love it. It seems that as I've now begun to take the baby steps toward a calling I've known for some time, doors are beginning to open. I look forward to hearing from visitors to this website (I haven't as of yet), but not a lot of folks have found it yet. Also, I know the site has a ways to go, but Lord willing, I am determined to make it something useful.

Thank you Lord for the experience yesterday and allowing me to be involved when someone made the decision to accept you. Praise God!

Oooh Boy! This is embarrasing. The reason my blog has not been updated is because I could not figure out how to log back-in. Ha Ha. God has lead me to write for him, but definitly not to b a computer whiz.
I really appreciate the comments and am thrilled that a reader loved the sample chapter.

First the book--One Man's Miracles is progressing very well and is in the final stages. It will be out soon! Yeaaahhhhhhh!

My mission trip to Ecuador was a life changing experience. It is so wonderful when doing something for God. There is no other feeling like it.  I'm told once you go on a Mission Trip you will not want to miss another, and that is exactly how I now feel.

I will keep the log up much better now I can log into it. I will also post pictures soon. The publisher its own site and Blog and I may switch to that but will link to it. Please keep the comments coming.

God bless you!
